Elise Tran, a brand originating in Hawaii, created this travel bag for journeys connecting Hawaii, New York, and Paris. Based on the "Kalakaua" series, the design was modified to feature a tapered top—making it easier for women to use—and a two-tone color scheme that captures the spirit of Hawaii; it has since become a hugely popular unisex item.
